Mablethorpe Sport Relief Mile

Scores of runners of all ages turned out on a sunny Sunday morning to raise money for Sport Relief in the Mablethorpe Sport Relief Mile. There was a even strong contingent of four-legged runners in the form of dogs accompanying their owners!

Medals and certificates were presented to the entrants as they crossed the finish line by Helen Parkhurst, Mayor of Mablethorpe.

Also doing plenty of running about, organising the event, was Debbie Prince, East Lindsey Council Neighbourhood Projects officer. In addition to the mile event, Debbie ensured there was something for the more seasoned runner with 3 and 6 mile races also taking place.
