Professor Steve Fothergill has produced a report listing Mablethorpe as one of the 9 towns in the UK with the worst financial positions.  The report cites East Coast resorts as being 'too remote and isolated'.  BBC Look North Investigated and reported in their programme broadcast on 7th March.
