Well the weather wasn't too kind but it didn't dampen the spirits of the hundreds of motorcycle fans who descended on Mablethorpe on Saturday 20th March. Stalls had sprung up overnight on the Quebec Road car park, Queen's Park and all points in between catering for evry motorcycling enthusiast. All the well known names were in attendance such as Triumph, Honda, Harley Davidson alongside many local and regional dealers.
Providing a great attraction and entertaining the crowds in Queens park with three shows was the Skard4Life motorcycle stunt duo:

Things didn't quite always go to plan though ......
There was a rare opportunity to oggle at £300,000 worth of machinery at the Honda stand on Quebec Road in the form of a 1967 Honda RC174 Replica, one of only six built to the original specification. The legendary Mike Hailwood and Stuart Graham rode the bike to win the 1967 Manufacturers' and Riders World Championships Mike also took the RC174 to victory in the 1967 Isle of Man TT.
A small piece of motorcycling history always gives people something to talk about!
Here's one young rider at the Festival who might be hoping to follow in Mike Hailwood's saddle ....
