On 2nd October the Mablethorpe Marathon and Half Marathon was held in high summer temperatures.  My Mablethorpe brings you some of the first images from the day, which was very well supported by both entrants and visitors.

10:00 - The Full Marathon is off!

The international field for the full marathon take to the road ... but it's British runners that are showing the early pace .. Runner 205 from Manchester ...... ... running with full army backpack & kit! The early pace setters after 1 mile ... Approaching the halfway mark .... ... the early leaders , numbers 192 & 408, maintain their pace.
