 Mayor of Mablethorpe, Sutton-on-Sea and Trusthorpe, Helen Parkhurst, has formally written to the Australian Prime Minister, Kevin Rudd, inviting him to the resort with the hope he may turn on the 2010 summer illuminations.She said: "It's highly unlikely he will take up our offer but I've said if he cannot attend in person we could set up a satellite link so he can switch on the lights remotely.
