The article quotes a spokesperson for Mr Rudd: "He is not planning a holiday to Mablethorpe. In fact, until Twitter inadvertently connected the Australian leader and the British coastal community, there was no connection.

My Mablethorpe comments: "Mr Rudd became a follower in mid-August. My Mablethorpe started following his tweets a few days later. Twitter does not do things inadvertently. We wonder if Mr Rudd is using some software that looks for key words and automatically signs him up as a follower. In which case, what key words lead him to Mablethorpe?
