East Lindsey District Council have appointed a team of consultants to identify areas of improvement and regeneration for the town. Ideas under consideration include a new pier and pavillion, refurbishment of beach chalets, new lighting and general rejuvenation of public spaces.

Funding would be sought via the government Sea Change programme to which coastal communities can apply to kick start regeneration through investment in culture and heritage.
