The Tourist Season is here again, may it be a good one for Mablethorpe.
The Motor Cycle Festival last week was a good start, very enjoyable and the sun shone this year thank goodness. Well done Gary, Tina and everyone involved.
In Bloom are getting started witth planning and planting. Anyone willing to help even a little please?
There will be a lot of cleaning going on in Town, litter and property painting etc.
You only have to look at the beautiful beach to know how important it is to keep the rest of Mablethorpe looking good.
A new Bakery is coming to Town before Easter, let us hope for other new things!

Hope you all had a happy Easter. Next will be the Royal Wedding which I suppose I will watch to at least see Kate's wedding outfit. Although I am not a Royalist, I wish them a happy marriage.The Party In The Park (Queen's Park) should be good. The town seemed very busy this week-end, I hope people were spending some money!
The new Bakery seems popular so let us hope for more new businesses.
Let us hope the rest of the Season is a good one and that the weather gets warmer.

the town was certainly busy over the weekend. people seemed to be enjoying the town and the nice weather. i agree the bakery is doing a very good trade and is an asset to mablethorpe.
lets have more big names soon planners.i noticed the empty bank is to let, i recon it is in a good location for one of the big name companies to develop.

I miss the HSBC Bank as it used to be so convenient for the cash machines but anything with a High Street name will do, however small. I would still welcome an Asda in Mabo along with it's clothing range.A Wilkinsons and Superdrug or a Home Bargains would be great, or even a Boyes Store.Maybe one day our dreams will become a reality!!This week-end seemed really busy.
