News is actually quite a laughable term when it comes to the website for the local paper isn't it?
I don't know how many of you check it regularly.None of you I expect as you nip into the "paper rack" to get your copy. But for me its one of my principal methods of getting news about the town.
But I'm looking at the webite right now and the news stories concern dates like August 2nd, July 7th, and June 15th.
I suppose it would be too much to expect there to be a member of the newspaper staff on the forum to explain why the website doesn't get updated regularly.
The town I live in here in the USA is no bigger than Mablethorpe yet it manages to have its Newspapers website updated regularly

Hi Ian,
My husband checks the web site regularly and goes mad at how way out of date it is. We do get the Leader weekly, as there is usually something,( though not a lot), about at least one of the local Groups I am involved with. I also send letters to their Letter Page which I am lucky to get printed and I do some of the Press releases for Mablethorpe in Bloom.I am now going to write to the Editor on your behalf and put your question to him. Let us see what he has to say. Watch this space, Pam.

Thanks Pam:
But you don't have to do that on my account.
It would be nice to get some kind of reply though...

At least the Mablethorpe stories on the revamped Louth Leader website site are up to date as of today...

The Mablethorpe News site was still unavailable earlier today but the Louth site included up to date Mabo news, things are looking up! Lets hope they keep it that way.

I often find it is easier to find stories on Mablethorpe Leader by searching through Google News! The stories are often posted but not put on the front page!

Today the leader website is laughable...

If I want to find out more about the bathing beauties festival I have to go and buy the newspaper... Might be difficult hereabouts....

Same here, plus the headline mentions 'crowds' and the photo showed an empty beach! Made me laugh!
