walking the dogs up kent avenue this morning, came across another dead duck killed by a car, the second one to die in the last couple of weeks. i saw it laying in the road outside a bunglow where some of us residents watched mother duck usher her babys in to the dyke for the first time a couple of weeks.ago on this road. ( I hope it was not the same duck) just a reminder to all and holiday makers as well.
Kent avenue is a country lane not a race track, please slow down, our wildlife looks better walking around not flattened in the road.
Also as we have no pavements, a lot of us have to walk on the road with our dogs, to get in to the fields.
it really screws up your sense of immortality, when a car comes flying down the road past you. SLOW DOWN PLEASE.

Poor Duck, hope it wasn'''t Mummy Duck!! There are some very selfish, careless, dangerous drivers around without a thought for anyone but themselves.

sadly very true pam there was not enough of it left for me to really say if it was mum, i hate seeing the wildlife killed.

.It is disgusting the way animals are treated by some people. I haven't come across any cases in Mabo, have you?

Maybe a fake speed cam being set up there would convince them to slow down....

hi static, yes it is sad to see them killed when really there is no need for it all people need is to slow down the dummy speed camera would be a good idea
but then again the leaving visitors are more interested in throwing their rubbish out of the car, along kent avenue then watching out for hazards or cameras
