everyone has had to encounter the street potholes and large areas of missing road surfaces. one or two of the small potholes have been repaired in a fashion ie- shovel full of fine macadum thrown into the hole, then rollered with the lorry tyre driving back and forth.
these type of repairs last a few weeks only.
the county council are at last to repair larger areas in town,closing off some of the roads. as expected on the very first day of the holiday parks reopening, great for the traders of mablethorpe ?

Sounds like Pot-hole repairs are the same the world over...
It reminds me of a funny true story about a pot-hole repair gang her in Minneapolis. The crew stopped on a bridge deck to fill a pot-hole. They poured some black stuff in. Then poured some more in, then some more and some more. It turns out the hole went all the way through the bridge deck and all they were doing was pouring macadam onto the road below!
