MORE PLEDGES FOR THE WILLDO SITE 1 Year, 11 Months ago Karma: -1
It would be good if more organisations, the public sector, residents, young people and all who go to make up the community of Mablethorpe could put some pledges on the www.mablethorpewilldo .com website, After all there is a huge amount of moaning about problems but what is needed is some positivity all round ----we cannot expect the Council to do everything nanny style for us all----so come on lets hear it, what WILL we ALL DO for our town----lets have some imagination and positivity for all to see especially our visitors, the life blood of our success as a tourism venue. There are many out there doing it but its the same little band time and again----the IN BLOOM committee and volunteers are a shining example----just look at our beautiful flower beds and displays----they did it and what style!!! So lets have some new blood with their WILLDOS.

Well put Julie. Even if every member of this site contributed a pledge and review then that would help. Also now and again, put in a response to one of the Forum topics or create a new topic. I know I am fortunate to have more spare time than many residents and am able to visit the site every day but surely at least once a week would be manageable.

there is the willdo launch on the 4th of july, and we will be up on the front doing things and hope to spread the word and get more pledges, the willdo site is very similar to forum boards, the more posts received the more others post. it's the snowball effect,
i believe this forum and the willdo site will go on to great things, both sites are in their infancy at the moment, but they are are growing well.

Spot on Steve, let's hope for the support it deserves. I check the willdo site every day and apart from three new entries, still no residents or young peoples pledges and not one review. Are the majority of the members unable to think of something positive to say out of respect for those that set up this site and for your Cartoon family. When I look through Facebook and see the trivia and rubbish posted on there, a lot of which I would not wish to share with anyone ( posted by my own family too) I know I am getting old! Come on please everyone, you know you want to!!!!!!!!!!1

I've moved this topic out of the FAQ section, which is more for questions about using the forum or website.
