Not exclusively about Mablethorpe but fascinating nonetheless
These are the diaries of a woman living in the Anderby Creek/Chapel St Leonards area written during WW2.

ace, I have a local (to London) diary from 1939 written by a young girl which is brilliant. She was pretty funny. Like most of us she could only be bothered to post for a month before getting bored and giving up.
