I have to think of something when I'm stuck in traffic jams commuting to work
On the beach the Donkeys and the sand train are, and have always, been there.
But who remembers the DUKW rides?
I clearly remember the "duck" driving down the high street every morning in the summer to give people rides in the surf. That would have been the early 70's I guess.
Anyone else any other knowledge of this forgotten beach ride?
