Once again Mablethorpe wins an award for the quality of its beaches. So let's not get down on Mablethorpe for a short while and revel in what we have that is good

You are of course right Ian, we do have wonderful beaches in Mablethorpe, the best for miles as far as I am concerned and thanks for reminding us. We have some beautiful views round and about,. I am looking out of my bedroom window across the fields with the Wolds on the horizon, the fields are bright yellow with the rape (sorry for people with allergies)and the sun is shining.
Some of the High Street shops have new frontage signs and I hope more will follow.
Any shops with boards up should ask the Senior School or the Youth Groups to paint some appropriate pictures or designs .
We can look forward to the old library being turned into a local art and craft place with cafe and local craft sales area along with public Meeting areas.Let us hope sufficient funding is available.
Let us hope for many more things to come but we all have to come together to put our ideas forward and not sit back and do nothing.

The Blue Flag beach with it's water quality & miles of sands are what bring the visitors year in year out.
Many visiting people tell us we have the best beach in the UK.
I tend to agree, i've travelled the world & can name a couple of beaches that are better but they are in Bali or Corsica, so our beach gets the thumbs up from me.
